What is Monte Vista Grove Homes?
Campus
Located in beautiful Pasadena on 13-1/2 magnificently landscaped acres, Monte Vista Grove Homes (MVGH) has provided quality long-term care services to its residents since 1924.
Our original plot plan was designed by esteemed architect Myron Hunt.
Approximately 140 retirees live in the 94 apartment residential campus.

Each new resident has an opportunity to make individualized improvements on their unit prior to moving in.
A swimming pool, spa, and exercise facility encourage active senior living.
Long Time Quality Provider
MVGH is a Regional Ministry of the Synod of California and Hawaii.
As a charter member of the Aging Services of California since its founding, MVGH has been a highly regarded, fiscally sound non-profit Multi-Level Retirement Community (MLRC).
MVGH has signed the Quality First Covenant with the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and is committed to an ongoing philosophy of quality improvement.
What Makes Monte Vista Grove Homes Unique?
Resident Life/Involvement
MVGH campus residents reach out and interact in a socially responsible manner to provide life enhancing services to the resident population and to members of the community at large.

Residents are encouraged to live to their highest potential. Supportive services at the appropriate residential level are in place to realize this goal.
Aging in Place is an honored philosophy throughout the campus.
