Opportunities to Give
Although founded by the Synod of California of the Presbyterian Church, MVGH receives no direct support from the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Monte Vista Grove Homes depends on the generosity of members of Presbyterian churches from across the nation, and the contributions of concerned individuals and foundations from the broader community.
MVGH offers a variety of satisfying and useful ways to give and help us meet our financial needs:
- Our Annual Giving Program - Funds are directed to “bridge the gap” between fees charged to our residents for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing Care – and what it actually costs to maintain the quality of life at MVGH
- Capital Development - Funds to help us with our Master Plan to expand our campus and the services we will need to provide to meet the future needs of our residents.
- “Quality of Life” Endowment Fund – Currently in an accumulation mode, upon reaching $1 million, the annual earnings will be used to provide care for residents who have exhausted their own resources.
- Donate your quality used goods to be sold by our Auxiliary at their Specialty Stores for the benefit of our residents in the Hearth and Health Center. Click here to find out more about our Auxiliary.
- Leave a Legacy through your Estate Plan – By naming Monte Vista Grove Homes as a beneficiary in your estate plan, you can benefit any of the above efforts. If you do not have an estate plan and are not sure where to start, you could contact our Senior Planning Services program designed to benefit our residents and friends of the Grove.
