Cost and Availability
Primary Category Applicants: As part of our commitment to fulfilling our mission, we strive to provide affordable housing opportunities for qualified applicants. Each applicant undergoes a financial review that considers their verifiable net worth. The Entrance Fee is generally targeted at 30% of net worth, not to exceed the established rate. Many applicants in the Primary Category applicants qualify for a mission-based adjustment.
Monthly Fee: Monthly Fees are based on the size of the cottage. The current established rate per square foot is $4.00 per square foot.
Primary Category Applicants: To best serve applicants who qualify under our Primary Category mission, we use a simple and objective formula to determine an affordable monthly fee. For single residents, the monthly fee is calculated at 40% of monthly income from all sources. For couples, the monthly fee is calculated at 45% of combined monthly income from all sources, not to exceed the established rate.In order to best serve our Primary Category mission applicants, we apply a simple, objective formula to calculate an affordable monthly fee.
